I joined Shanklin Hyde WI in January 2021 and by the April was co-opted on to the Committee organising Outings, Craft Coordinator and the Programme Secretary. I joined Bembridge Belles WI in 2022 as a Dual Member taking on the roles of Programme Secretary, Outings, Media & Publicity and Craft Club Coordinator. I am a member of the Board of Trustees helping to up-date the Speakers List and be part of the new Arts & Leisure Group. I have many interests - Theatre, arts & crafts, Craft Fairs, dancing & singing, NT Historical Homes and Gardens, photography, yoga, Cantata Choir, walking and gardening.     As a career I have worked as a Statistician, and later trained as a Nursery Teacher, which I greatly loved and enjoyed until I retired in March 2019.    We moved from Surrey in 2021 to Shanklin, having previously spent many holidays and family gatherings here since 1985. Having taken early retirement ourselves, we knew the Island was the place for us to find our ‘forever home’.
