I moved to the Island from Kent where I was the President of Royal Eltham WI.  I had also been a member of the Committee for over 10 years and have experience for 5 years as the Secretarial role too.  I was an active member of West Kent Federation since 2017.  I am a qualified WI Adviser, I was Secretary of the Arts and Crafts Sub Committee, was a member of the Public affairs and International Committee and also did three years on the Home Economics Sub Committee.  

I am now the President of Bembridge Belles WI, I am still an Adviser only now for the IOW Federation and am a Member of the Board of Trustees as well as being the new IOW Federation Treasurer.  Little did I know that when I offered my services to the County Chair, she would be biting my hand off!  That is not a complaint, I love the WI!.

I like to think, hope, that I am a team player and that I can be relied upon and WI has given me so much over the last 13 years that I strongly believe giving back has not only opened new doors and exciting new adventures but gives me even more pleasure in all that the WI has to offer.
